Tottenham reach agreement
with Valencia for the transfer of Roberto Soldado
Tottenham comfirmed on their official
website;
“We are delighted to announce
that we have reached agreement with Valencia for the transfer of Roberto
Soldado subject to medical.”
The 28-year-old began his career at Real Madrid where he scored 63
goals in 120 league appearances for the B side, Real Madrid Castilla, also
featuring on 16 occasions for the First Team either side of a loan move to
Osasuna in season 2006-7 when he scored 11 goals in 30 appearances before
moving to Getafe in 2008.
The Spain international now has 11 caps to his name and is the scorer of six goals for his country, with his most recent appearances coming in the Confederations Cup, staged in Brazil in June.
